Fussy Fairytales ~ a finish!

I am very excited to finally be able to reveal this finish.  A quilt made for my sweet little friend Eva.  I could say a lot about this project, but I think I'll mostly just stick with the photos.

Quilt stats:

Finished size:  64" x 84"
Pattern:  Fussy Fairytales, by Kate Conklin
Fabric:  'Pretty Little Things' by Dena Designs for Free Spirit, a few Heather Ross prints and even some Echino, Kona Snow background, wide variety of Kona solids for skinny block frames, Kona Buttercup, Camellia & Petal for backing, Kona Cerise binding
Quilted by:  me, using off-white Aurifil 50wt cotton thread

This turned out fantastic Heather - I really love how the quilting makes little frames on the back. It's so bright and cheerful, I'm sure it will be much loved by its recipient.

It's perfect Heather! I love this one so, so much (my fave of yours I think!) So sensible just FMQing the edge - it would have been so tricky wrestling the middle through your machine!
