Kona Cotton Overload

I'm trying to decide which Kona solid {link to Marmalade Fabrics, highly recommended} to use for bordering my scrappy postage stamp top.  I've narrowed it down to 12 choices and I'd love your input!  You can click on the photo for a larger view.

Clockwise from top left, we have: Tomato, Tangerine, School Bus, Robin Egg, Olive, Grass Green, Wine, Butter, Chartreuse, Daffodil, Lagoon, Pacific.

What do you think??

By the way, I just found out that my mini quilt has been nominated as one of the finalists in the Festival of HSTs! Go here to vote, for me or any of the other great finalists. :)

Tangerine or Chartreuse would be my choices. I think I'd go with the Chartreuse.

For some reason I am really drawn to the blues (especially lagoon). I think a big, wide border of any one of these solid colors would be stunning!

Chartreuse is my #1 pick! But I think lagoon would look nice too :)

My vote goes for Robin's Egg or Chartreuse, though I think any of these colors would look great.

Chartreuse or lagoon...I make alot of these myself and the brighter borders always look the nicest!

I like Lagoon. But what about two borders? Then I'd pick Lagoon for the first and Pacific for the second. :-)

I know green and orange are big colors this year, but i'm definitely feeling the wine or the pacific and lagoon.. any of the choices are beautiful though and it'll be great!

My first thought was "12 choices?! That hardly seems narrowed down...haha!"
Do you know what you'll use for binding? I would love to see it bound in Pacific... or maybe do a double border & have the outer one Pacific. I like to frame things up in darker colours most of the time I think. lol

Wow! Such great choices. I vote lagoon.

Congrats on the HST!

I love lagoon the most on its own, but I think with your quilt I'd like chartreuse the best. :)

Huge congratulations!
It's such a tough decision, I love orange but I'd not use it here because the orange already seems to stand out in the quilt. I like the neutrals or the wine but my favourite is the Robin Egg. Alternatively you could use them all and make a border of solids like in your picture?! x

I'm trying very hard not to choose one of the oranges. I keep thinking ho great it looked on Chelsea's quilt. Orange aside, it would be awesome though,I vote for chartreuse!

I like Grass or Pacific best. Hey - we're doing the same thing on the same day again - what's with that?!

Love them all! Ha! Sorry, not helpful I know. I'd audition them separately and then pick the one you like the most! Congratulations on your nomination too...heading on over to vote!

It's going to look awesome no matter what you pick, but since we're voting I'm going to say the dark blue...Pacific ( I had to go check the post again for the name!). But it could just be that it reminds me of colours you've used in the past, so maybe I should suggest something like daffodil to stretch your palette. You need to do what I did and head over to Van and Spool of Thread for the day so you can audition them!

Or order some of each and piece the border to look like the layout!

Daffodil or Robin Egg - though I may just be drawn to them because they're in the corners.

Already voted for your mini!
